Science Journalism

I’m a freelance science journalist, and my work has appeared online and in print at Air & Space, Discover, Gizmodo, Popular Mechanics, and the Washington Post.

The best part of my job is that I mostly get to spend my time learning new things and sharing them with curious people.  I get especially excited when I’m working on stories about space exploration, dinosaurs, deadly infectious diseases, geology, animal behavior, storms, the oceans, archaeology, evolution, or forensics – but I’m up for covering nearly any science topic, and I’m always open to suggestions.  What are you curious about?
